On Wednesday, Sample Road west of University Drive and east of NW 110th Avenue, and Coral Springs Drive north of NW 29th Street and south of NW 37th Street, will be closed on the night of the Holiday Parade from 5 p.m. until approximately 10 p.m.

Due to system maintenance, online payments for Code Compliance cases, Business Tax, Fire Inspection fees, Landlord Registration, and Neighborhood Preservation fees cannot be submitted.

Remember to recycle the right materials to ensure a clean, high quality stream. After pick up by your hauler the recycling is transported to a state-of-the-art processing facility.

At the recycling processing center automated conveyors, magnets, rollers, screens, optical scanners, physical labor and other technologies separate the recyclables by type and bundle them for shipment to the places that will use them to make new products.

The following items ARE NOT RECYCLABLE as they damage equipment and contaminate other recyclables.

All In One - Paper, Plastic Bottles, Metal & Glass Recyclables

  • You do not need to separate your paper recyclables from cans, plastic bottles or any of the other accepted recyclables – it all goes into the Blue Cart.
  •  

  • There is a label on the lid of each cart with a reminder of what recyclable materials can be placed in the cart.
  •  

  • Flatten all boxes and place them at the curb in or next to your Blue recycling cart and we will pick them up on your recycling collection day. Boxes larger than 18” X 24” must be set out on your bulk pick up day for recycling collection.
  •  

  • Newspapers should be placed loose in the cart, not packed into a paper or plastic bag.
  •  

  • Recyclables shall be CLEAN: Empty • Rinsed • Wiped
    Free of food dirt, grease, excess moisture, liquid or other contaminants.
