Eduardo Lopez

LopezEduardo_150Battalion Chief Eduardo Lopez started his career with the Coral Springs Fire Department as a Firefighter/Paramedic in September 1996. During the course of his tenure with the department, he has moved up the ranks and promoted to Lead Paramedic in August 1998, Driver/Engineer in December 2000, Lieutenant in November 2003 and Battalion Chief in December 2007.

Chief Lopez is currently assigned as the Battalion Chief of the Alpha shift. Chief Lopez holds a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from St. Thomas University and an Associate degree in Fire Science from Broward Community College. Chief Lopez is the Liaison between the City of Coral Springs Fire Department and the USAR Task Force II team. Chief Lopez has been a member of the USAR team since 2001 and currently holds the position of Safety Officer. Chief Lopez was also assigned to the Dive team and the Honor Guard team back in 2004.
