On Wednesday, Sample Road west of University Drive and east of NW 110th Avenue, and Coral Springs Drive north of NW 29th Street and south of NW 37th Street, will be closed on the night of the Holiday Parade from 5 p.m. until approximately 10 p.m.

Due to system maintenance, online payments for Code Compliance cases, Business Tax, Fire Inspection fees, Landlord Registration, and Neighborhood Preservation fees cannot be submitted.

Juan Cardona

CardonaJuan_150Juan Cardona first joined the Coral Springs Fire Department in September of 1997 as a firefighter paramedic. He spent the first several years of his career as part of a crew on a rescue truck and on a fire engine. Chief Cardona has held several positions within the fire department. He was promoted to lieutenant in charge of a rescue company, later to driver engineer, and then to captain in charge of a station. He was later promoted to battalion chief in charge of A-shift, and since June of 2012 has occupied the position of division chief in charge of EMS.

Chief Cardona holds a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Management from Nova Southeastern University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Barry University. He is also certified as a State of Florida Fire Service Instructor 3.
