Larry Vignola, a Coral Springs resident since 1986, was elected as City Commissioner Seat 3 in November 2010 and served as Vice Mayor from November 2013 to November 2015. He works at his family-owned business, Auto Works Collision and Paint, which is the only “Green” Auto Body Shop in Coral Springs. Prior to this, he was a former TV News Producer for a CBS affiliate.
Currently, he serves as Chair for the Coral Springs Financial Advisory Committee, as well as the Youth and Family Committee, Sports Coalition, Principal Education Committee, and Teen Political Forum. He also serves as a Commission liaison to the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization, and he is a member of the Coral Springs Charter School Board and the Coral Springs Regional Chamber.
As a proud father of three girls, he has been a volunteer coach for the Coral Springs American Little League, Coral Springs Youth Soccer and Youth Softball Association of Coral Springs.
Vignola is a Graduate of the University of Miami, and attended Coral Springs Elementary, Coral Springs Middle School and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
Commissioner Vignola and his wife, Aimee, have three beautiful girls: Madison, Ava and Aimee.
