American Sign Language (All Ages)

Niccole Pazos is the founder and owner of The Bridge Outreach for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.  Their mission is to bridge the communication gap between the Deaf and Hearing communities.  Their goal is to knock down the communication barriers, create awareness about the Deaf community, including the importance of learning American Sign Language.

American Sign Language class features:
     • History about Deaf Culture and the Deaf Community
     • Finger spelling, numbering, classifiers, facial expression, use of space, sentence structure, and vocabulary development
     • The concepts of summarizing and paraphrasing and when to use them within their receptive interpretation
    • How to identify the main idea of a signed text as well as the supporting details

Ages: All ages
Children under age of 15 must have parent present
