On Wednesday, Sample Road west of University Drive and east of NW 110th Avenue, and Coral Springs Drive north of NW 29th Street and south of NW 37th Street, will be closed on the night of the Holiday Parade from 5 p.m. until approximately 10 p.m.

Due to system maintenance, online payments for Code Compliance cases, Business Tax, Fire Inspection fees, Landlord Registration, and Neighborhood Preservation fees cannot be submitted.

Okinawan Karate Kickstarter (ages 4-6)

Ages 4-6 • This Class was designed with the younger karate  student in  mind.  Participants  in  the program will develop self-discipline, and confidence in a fun safe environment. Colored belts are earned   through   attendance, and there are no belt-testing fees.

The Okinawan Karate program has been a part of the Coral Springs Parks and Recreation Department since 2006. Trust your  child’s  self-defense  instruction with Scott Ashley, a law enforcement  officer  with more than 35 years of teaching  experience.  Scott is a sixth-degree black  belt, a former world  kickboxing  champion, and is currently on staff at Broward  College where he teaches defensive tactics to police recruits.

Mondays and Thursdays • Time: 6 to 6:45 p.m.

Cost: $55 per month/ $5 off second child
