Functional Fitness (Core and Balance) • 9:30 a.m.
The participants sit on and stand behind chairs while they move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to deepen core connection, agility, boost overall well-being, and gain improved balance.
Functional Fitness (Low Impact Aerobics) • 10 a.m.
This is an upbeat low impact aerobics class, designed for the senior population that may be performed standing or in a seated position. The class includes energizing and easy-to-follow movements that promote heart-healthy, total-body conditioning to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance.
Functional Fitness (Strength and Stretch) • 10:30 a.m.
Move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase strength, help maintain healthy bone mass and prevent age-related muscle loss. Followed by a complete body stretch that will give you more freedom of movement for your everyday activities. A chair is used for support. (Bring light weights)
