On Wednesday, Sample Road west of University Drive and east of NW 110th Avenue, and Coral Springs Drive north of NW 29th Street and south of NW 37th Street, will be closed on the night of the Holiday Parade from 5 p.m. until approximately 10 p.m.

Due to system maintenance, online payments for Code Compliance cases, Business Tax, Fire Inspection fees, Landlord Registration, and Neighborhood Preservation fees cannot be submitted.

UniTown

UNITOWN is a weekend retreat for high school students focusing on leadership skills and diversity topics. Students who attend will be sharing experiences of their own culture, gaining a better understanding of other groups, and preparing themselves for leadership roles in their schools and community.

For High School students from public and private schools who live in Coral Springs or attend Coral Springs schools.


Cost: $25
(includes T-Shirt • Dinner • Breakfast • Lunch • Snacks • Program Materials)
1/2 Day - Friday, November 3 • 3:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Full Day - Saturday, November 4 • 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

The program, which will be held at Coral Glades High, will be run by professional facilitators and will cover topics such as

Understanding Oneself and Others,
Appreciation/Understanding of various Cultures and Religions,
Development of Leadership Skills,
Knowing Your Community.

 

We anticipate accommodating 150 students for the weekend program. Unitown prepares students for life in the outside world, once they leave high school.
