As part of the Water Main Project along NW 110th Ave., access to NW 110th from Sample Road will be closed starting Monday, June 12. Work will only take place from 8pm to 6am for three nights. Please follow detours signs.
Roadwork activities for the replacement of 5,400 linear feet of aging water pipe are expected to be completed by the end of August 2017. The water main replacement includes the installation of a new 8 inch water main from Wiles Rd. to Sample Rd., and connection of the existing water services to the newly installed water main.
In September, the City will begin another long awaited project which is the addition of 4-foot bike lanes, curb and gutter, a 5-foot sidewalk, and new trees along 110th Avenue. Trees currently located between the street and valley gutter will be removed to make room for the new bike lane and sidewalk. To complete the project NW 110th Avenue will be resurfaced and re-striped.
This update is to inform you that during this period of construction, you may experience traffic detours, partial road closures, construction noise, and excavation work along 110th Avenue.
