The City’s Sample Road Water & Sewer Line Replacement Project is continuing.

Over the next several weeks, one lane will be closed at SAMPLE ROAD and 94th AVENUE EASTBOUND due to construction of a new turn lane. Please note: The work will occur during the DAYTIME, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday thru Friday. During this time, Sample Road will be reduced to two lanes in this area.   1. When will the lane be closed?

    Monday thru Friday DAYTIME, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Traffic will be reduced to two lanes at Sample Road and 94th Avenue eastbound due to construction of a new turn lane in this area.

  2. How will drivers know the lane is closed?

    Drivers will see “Right Lane Closed Ahead” signs. They signs are used to inform drivers in the right lane that they need to merge left to avoid the road work ahead.

  3. How long will the lane be closed?

    The construction of the new turn lane is expected to last 4-6 weeks.

  4. Can I still access sidewalks in this area?

    No, sidewalks will be permanently closed in this area while road work is underway. Pedestrians will be detoured.
