Jason Gonzalez

Jason GonzalezJason Gonzalez was born and raised as a South Florida native who is a married father of two.  Jason says his greatest accomplishment is the family he has built with his wife Tessa and his two children Gavin and Paityn.  Jason was hired as a fire Fighter/Paramedic in October 2002.  Since then he has worked for the agency as a Firefighter, Lead Medic, Lieutenant, Captain, Step-up Battalion, Training Battalion Chief, and is currently the shift commander for C-Shift.  Jason is also appointed to the Dive Rescue team and the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT).  Jason’s additional responsibilities include maintaining all buildings and facilities for the Coral Springs Fire Department.  Throughout his career Jason has instructed EMT, Paramedic, TCCC and was a lead designer and test administrator for live action promotional exams.  Jason has been a Field Training Officer for the last 9 years of his career and believes that it is his duty to help people succeed in the industry he loves.  Jason loves being in this service and loves to address the needs of the people so if you need anything from him he says don’t be afraid to ask it would be his pleasure to help.
