The City of Coral Springs offer home repair grants to owner occupied residents that meet the eligibility requirements of the program.
Home Repair Criteria - OPENS September 18, 2017
The Home Repair Program is designed to provide assistance to low and moderate-income owner occupied property owners (refer to chart below) whose market value does not exceed $386,202. Households can receive up to $35,000 in home repair assistance (The program does not reimburse for rehabilitation that was done prior to applying for assistance.)

Broward County Median Income = $64,100
- Please take into account all sources of income, including salary/wages, child support and social security payment (including disability and retirement).
- Maximum Allowable Market Value (according to Property Appraiser) cannot exceed $386,202.

Applications are taken on a continuous basis, however funds are awarded on a first come, first certified, first served basis.
To apply, call (954) 344-1161. Your referral can be processed over the phone. If you are income eligible, the application package will be mailed to you.
Grant funds are provided with no payment schedules as a 10-year loan. Ten-percent of the grant is forgiven per year, so that at the end of ten years, the loan has a zero balance and is 100% forgiven.
The City of Coral Springs does not have a purchase assistance program, however individuals can contact other cities for their Purchase Assistance Program information.
