Neighborhood projects

--Sample Road Master Parking Improvement

The City has retained a contractor to resurface and stripe the area of Sample Road Master Parking from Riverside Drive to Woodside Drive, including the rear alleyway on the north side.  N.W. 99th Way east to Coral Hills Drive on the north side. Rear parking will not be affected.

Based on business owners’ feedback at the August 16 public meeting
this will now take place as follows:

The resurfacing is scheduled to begin on or around September 3. Final striping should be completed by the end of October.
This may include periodic closure of the front parking lots and rear alleyway. Directional signs to stores will be provided as necessary.

-- Construction of new sidewalk, curb, and gutter on 38th Drive from University Drive to 85th Ave.   Project will commence on April 29th with an anticipated completion of August 30th.  The Contractor is Eagle Enterprises.   Inquiries should be made to the Streets Office,  954-345-2210.

Other projects impacting Coral Springs residents

--Holmberg Road resurfacing:
During the week of June 3, 2013, the City of Parkland will begin the milling and resurfacing of Holmberg Road from University Drive to Pine Island Road/Coral Springs Drive. Weather permitting, it is anticipated the entire project will last 120 days. Traffic delays should be expected during this time and it is recommended that alternate routes be utilized to avoid such delays.
