The City of Coral Springs strongly believes in giving its residents educational opportunities. We are aware of the significant amount of residents that come from different parts of the world, and we think that making them comfortable with the English language and the American culture is a necessary step to get them actively involved in our community. To attain that purpose, we offer English for Speakers of Other Languages, “ESOL” classes in various sites:

• Coral Springs Community School, located at Coral Springs Middle School, 10300 Wiles Road, offers ESOL classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Phone: 754-322-3000
  
• Taravella Community School, 10600 Riverside Drive, offers 3 different levels of ESOL instruction on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5:00 P.M. to 9:15 P.M. Phone: 754-322-2300
  
• Northwest Regional Library, 3151 University Drive, offers 2 different types of courses, called English Café, one of them on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. and the other on Tuesdays from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Phone: 954-341-3900
  
• The newly opened Family Success Center at 10077 NW 29 th Street, will soon also offer ESOL classes in the Coral Springs community (days and times of classes to be announced.) Phone: 954-761-2121

All those classes are offered free of charge; the students pay only a small enrollment fee.

Hispanic Unity, in Hollywood, also offers English classes for all those who wish to improve their skills. Classes are offered Monday through Friday in the morning, afternoon and evening, and Saturday in the morning.
